Shipping
Depending on you location please allow 2-10 days for your bicycle to be delivered. Once we process your order you will receive a tracking number in the email. Bicycle are shipped in the boxes about 80% assembled. We require all customers to use professional bike shop to assemble a bicycle. The cost for assembly is approximately $20-$35.
No returns or refunds
Transportation of bicycles is not easy therefore we do not accept returns or refunds.
Damages
Bike will be sent in the carton box. Box might get damaged during the shipping, but please dont be alarmed. Bicycles survive the shipping just fine in most of the cases.
If there is a damage to certain part we can send you a replacement part (see below for more info). Do not refuse parcel from FedEx as it will make you liable for another shipping cost back to our warehouse. Email us first and we will find a solution so you can enjoy your new bicycle. Most of the problems are easily solved. Our policy is to provide free replacement parts if they are available.
In order to process requests for replacement parts you must send us a description of the damaged part(s) in writing with digital photos. We only handle claims via email, claims left on our answering machine will not be processed. The reason is we must know exactly what is wrong with the bicycle.
Manufactures Warranty
All warranties are against manufacturer defects and do not cover normal wear and tear or abuse. Specific terms of warranty depends on bike manufacturer. Minimum warranty is:
1. Sixty days for the frame and thirty days for all component joint parts.
2. The manufacturer will replace any parts failing during the warranty period.
3. Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty or any implied warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. You will be responsible for labor and shipping costs associated with warranty replacements.
Items not covered by warranty
- Gear or brake adjustments.
- Any scratches or dents to frame or any part.
- Flat tires
- Any alteration made or after market part installed on bike by customer.
- Wear and tear to bike, tires or components.
- Damage as a result of any bike accident
- Damage attributable to shipping damage
- Bicycles which were not professionally assembled by bike shop. Receipt is required before proceeding with warranty request.
Damages during shipping
Bicycles on occasion may be damaged in the shipping process. We will provide FREE replacement parts. To process request for replacement part you have to send us description of damaged part in writing and digital photo. This is the fastest way to process such request.
If customer purchased an insurance (insurance option offered on product page for each bicycle) then we will ship free replacement parts and cover the cost for shipping. If customer did not purchase the insurance we will still ship free parts, but customer is responsible for shipping cost.
Please note, we only carry certain parts in stock in our warehouse, as many bicycles are sold only as whole bikes, and we may not have replacements for all damaged parts. If you have any question regarding this issue, please feel free to contact us. We will be glad to help you.
Small blemishes
As a customer you have several choices when buying a new beach cruiser. You can go to our showroom and make sure that beach cruiser is perfect to your expectations.
Or you already know that you will be loading your bike in your truck, take them to the beach and expect them to get scratched during the normal use. When buying online from our store there might be small blemishes (scratches) on the bikes, which might happen during shipping or manufacturing process. Please understand that such situation can happen and such blemishes are not covered by warranty. Shipping bicycle is not easy as shipping companies like FedEx are often not very careful about the way they handle packages. We cannot send you replacement bicycle in case there is a scratch or small imperfection. We are selling very inexpensive bicycles with factory direct pricing so please be tolerant if there are small imperfections, which do not affect the functionality.
Always wear a helmet when riding bicycle. Beach cruisers are not capable of riding on sand. Beach cruisers are meant for recreational riding.
